Yoga Levels

Level 1:My Yoga Body Level 1 class is tailored for the new student. Total focus is learning the basic postures and proper alignment, linking breath with movement. It can also just be for those wanting to take it slow in a class.

Level 2:This class is for all advanced, intermediate not for beginner students. Be prepared to work hard, work up a sweat and move to the next level.

Mixed levels: This class is appropriate for all levels from beginner to the advanced yogi. Modifications and variations are given to keep all levels challenged and content. Either way get ready for a good work out and to feel well balanced after the class. But please take it at a pace that you are comfortable with (and take lots of breaks).
We believe it’s usually better for absolute beginners to try at least one of our Beginners classes first. This class will teach you the basic postures, help you get to grips with a new way of breathing and will give you the confidence to join any of the Yoga classes we offer.

Hot Yoga Room Temperature :At MYB all our classes are between 80-90º F (26-29 Celsius). The heat comes from our special hot yoga heaters. Heat is also created by the breath technique called Ujjayi.

Music: Is very important to us at My Yoga Body. Each class has a tailored playlist to help to set the atmosphere of the class.
