Ciara started Active Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic in 2008. In 2001 she obtained a Sport Science Degree from University of Wales. She has been practising as a Chartered Physiotherapist for over 7 years, having graduated from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2005.
Ciara also completed numerous postgraduate courses on a vast number of topics including manual therapy for the spine, myofascial release and neurostructural integration technique (NST). She has a special interest in, and experience with, a unique holistic and mind-body approach within the Physiotherapy setting. She recently completed Reiki and Seichim Mastership and Reflexology courses.
The Practice tends to bring a modern approach to private practice Chartered Physiotherapy, using physical means and hands-on approach to assist and encourage recovery. A wide spectrum of patients ranging from infants, children, teenagers, amateur and professional athletes along with the geriatric population are referred to Ciara.
